I genuinely want therapy to be accessible to as many people as possible and be sustainable. I want to manage rates from a social justice place and not just based on income. It is a conversation meant to be fair to you my client and myself. Many of my current clients know that I am flexible and understanding that circumstances change.

Why I don't take insurance...

When I first started my practice I assumed I would eventually take insurance once I felt more comfortable with other aspects of starting a practice.

Over time I started to understand how unethical insurance companies are and the way they go out of their way to create barriers to care and get out of paying for care. 
I want to protect your autonomy, your goals, and your privacy. It is your growth journey and we don't need to pathologize normal responses to challenges.
