LGBTQ Individuals and Families
The LGBTQ population deals with discrimination causing harm and shame, complex exploration of what feels true for you, coming out, feeling put in a box, isolation when being disowned my family, friends, and other communities, and the complications of navigating the medical community when seeking gender affirmation support and surgery.
I also know that as an LGBTQ human, the eating disorder support world does not know enough about how to support this population because needs are different.
I work with individuals, relationships (poly, kink, and sex positive), and families through life transitions, relationship challenges, exploration and with eating disorder support.
